Get ready for games; reflect to win
Pregame visualization and activation
Capture in-game reflections, notes
Weekly Coach Encouragement
While the Sevwins daily reps build strong character and mental resilience, coach encouragement will accelerate athlete growth.
Set the Focus for the Week (Every Monday)
Each week of daily reps is anchored by a single learning theme, called Power Reps. Coaches can prepare athletes for the week and reinforce what they will learn using the content from the Power Reps.
Embed in Team Routines
In team gatherings, set the tone by talking about the Power Rep content for the week. Share personal experiences related to the theme. Team culture and trust starts with coach vulnerability. Be vulnerable.
How in the App
Read the Power Rep content and give it your own flavor. We know you are a storyteller! Make the lesson stick.
Motivate with Peer Competition (Every Monday)
The goal is to encourage motivation and growth. Share your team's Sevwins stats to ignite effort with peer competition.
Embed in Team Routines
Share team stats in the team’s group chat and/or print it to post in a visible location. Recognize performers and ask them how it’s helping them.
How the App
Once in the Team View, click on the arrow icon to save the Roster View image for printing or share it through the team’s group chat. Sort the columns for the message you want to deliver.

Review Player Journals, Encourage (1 to 2 per week)
Review athlete journals regularly to understand the team and individual mindset. Acknowledge positive thoughts and commitments to process to build trust and drive growth.
Embed in Team Routines
Allocate 10 to 20 minutes a week to review athlete journals. Be selective as to which journals you review. Screenshot positive journals and text a short statement of encouragement or reference the journal in-person. Make connections. Know that connecting with a few athletes can positively impact the culture of the entire team.

Daily Character Development
Habits are built through steady commitment and action. That’s why we designed Sevwins to challenge athletes to win all seven days in a week.
Win the Week with Quality Reps
Sevwins automates daily character development by challenging athletes to pause and set the day up for success. Challenges start with an inspirational notification, followed by a challenge and journal entry. All reps are methodically designed to build on previous learnings.
The goal of Sevwins is to encourage athletes to win the week. That’s why the program is built on a seven day cadence using the following learning structure:
MONDAY
Set weekly goals
TUESDAY
Be grateful
WEDNESDAY
Assess mental skills
THURSDAY
Check goals
FRIDAY
Get inspired
SUNDAY
Reflect on the week
Embed in Team Routines
Coaches sit back and watch the journal entries flow in. Use the journal entries to connect with athletes at a different level.
How in the App
View team stats and journal entries by clicking on . From here you can view the team feed or dive into each individual athlete.
Capture Book Notes
As coaches, we love to assign books for team reads. With Sevwins, athletes can easily capture what they learn. Two things occur when notes are captured in Sevwins: 1) Athletes take notes and save them in a single location where they can be easily accessed later; 2) Coaches can see the notes, the level of attention to detail and understanding of the material.
Embed in Team Routines
Assign compelling books to read relevant to the sport, teamwork or leadership. Reserve small increments of time in practice to discuss each chapter. Encourage athletes to take notes that can be referenced later.
How to in the App
Use the Open Journal in Sevwins to log reading notes. Timestamps automatically get added so athletes can quickly rediscover important learnings.
Train Decisive Thinking
Commonly used reps can be accessed at any time to assess mental skills, capture a thought or prepare for something important. Athletes will find these on demand reps on their own and use them when needed:
Evaluate and reset the day
Log a thought, reminder, etc.
Prepare for important stuff
Maximize Practice Impact
Help your athletes learn to prepare, be in the moment and reflect to learn from experiences. Use Sevwins as a single place to capture preparation plans, thoughts, practice notes and reflections. Create habits in practice that translate into Ws.
Drive Daily Accountability and Growth
Many coaches require athletes to complete their daily growth reps at the beginning of each practice. Should you follow this approach, Sevwins recommends encouraging athletes to complete reps prior to practice so they build personal accountability. Those who failed to complete reps can do them during the allocated time during practice.
Embed in Team Routines
Ensure athletes complete their daily growth reps by providing 3 minutes during practice for those that did not do the rep prior to practice.
How in the App
Open the app, do today’s rep. Get 1% better today.
Mound Preparation and Reflection
Preparing for a pitching performance, whether a pen or game, is critical to maximizing performance. After the outing, evaluating what worked, and didn’t work, allows pitchers to separate workloads to build on strengths and work on weaknesses.
Embed in Team Routines
Prior to a bullpen or outing, pitchers complete a Sevwins Performance Journal to set their mantra and define their performance targets. After the outing, pitchers evaluate their state of mind, approach, results and log their Build Ons and Work Ons.
How to in the App
Use Performance Journals to prepare for a pitching performance. Define who they will be today to use as a mental trigger and reset, then evaluate the performance to improve.
Log Important Practice Notes
Logging team meeting notes or thoughts on practice performance can be done in paper journals, but it’s hard to find specific notes when they’re needed. It’s also near impossible for coaches to read and confirm athletes capture the important stuff.
Embed in Team Routines
Encourage athletes to capture practice notes using the Sevwins Open Journal. Notes get automatically timestamped so they can be easily accessed when needed and coaches gain immediate access to the thoughts when they are logged.
How to in the App
Launch Open Journal to capture a quick note, reflection or experience to revisit later.
Elite Performance in Games, Scrimmages, Intersquads
Train athletes to prepare, perform in their moment and reflect to reach their potential.
